“Mine’d connects you with top emotional wellness experts and community through daily live and on-demand classes.”

There's an app for just about everything, and thankfully wellness apps are on the rise. Here are two to check out: Mine'd and Endel.

"Mine'd is a digital platform with human pathos. Whether you're just starting your journey or it's already underway, Mine'd connects you with top emotional wellness experts and community through daily live and on-demand classes."

One of the great things about Mine'd is that you get a dose of knowledge, support, and inspiration in 20 mins. The Experts cover topics from sexuality, money, family, career, love, spirituality, relationships, self-love, community and purpose. They are here to serve and feel like a community.

Available on Apple + Google Play, it's free, and super easy to use. Of course, there's the occasional glitch, but they're minor and quick to resolve.

You’ve got nothing to lose and everything to gain.

“Personalized, soundscapes to help you focus, relax, and sleep. Backed by neuroscience.” - Endel

May I please get Deep Work for 30 minutes? The soundscape behind today's Journal.

"Founded by a collective of imaginative creatives and artists in 2018, Endel is democratizing wellness by making AI-powered mindfulness accessible to all. The company's core technology Endel Pacific creates personalized, adaptive soundscapes to reduce stress, improve sleep, and boost productivity — all backed by neuroscience and the science of the circadian rhythm."

They are not as new but new enough, and while other apps offer soundscapes with meditations and story-time sleep support, this is one to watch. Sound healing can stimulate the brain into a specific state, which can be potent for the body and mind.

Sound has an ancient history of healing in cultures all over the world. In this piece from Psychology Today, they note: "Science is still catching up to understanding how sound heals, but the current research is promising. A review of 400 published scientific articles on music as medicine found strong evidence that music has mental and physical health benefits in improving mood and reducing stress. In fact, rhythm in particular (over melody) can provide physical pain relief.”

Rhythm is what Endel offers. They are soft beats with soothing layers of sound. You do have to pay for this app, and there are two options:

1) Monthly: No free trial, starts at $9.99/mo.

2) Annual: 7-day free trial, and then $59.99/ year (comes to $5/month)

You'll pick a scenario for listening, set the duration of time you want, and you're set. Should you choose to plug in your location, Endel will curate tunes based on your circadian rhythm. To learn about how they plan to reshape our collective future, check out their manifesto

There's an AI Lullaby by Grimes and an upcoming Soundscape from Alan Watts—"enlightening words from the influential British philosopher set to a reflective original soundscape." Interesting.

"The technology is designed for integration into various industries and external platforms. Endel spans apps across iOS, Apple Watch, macOS, Amazon Alexa, and Android with more than 2 million downloads. Endel is the Apple Watch App of the Year 2020."

You'll see why all the cool kids are using these apps. Enjoy.
